EarthChef, I'll have to check them out. I'm not too impressed with my stainless pan right now. Cleaning it is such a pain.

I've seen commercials like that with the mother spraying the child's stuffed animals with Lysol...ugh...why don't you just let your kid cuddle the bottle of Lysol while they sleep?

On a side note, we had to replace all our pots last spring when the teflon started to flake off and rust. We ended up finding EarthChef cookware totally by accident, and they work really well. And the best part, it was on sale 50% off. ;)

Thanks Kelly!

Ya the way I used to clean its a wonder I never passed out from the fumes. My motto was if my eyes aren't stinging than its not clean, sad I know! Parent's are way to germaphobic these days, my kids have ate dirt, licked the kitchen floor and put all manner of things in their mouths, and Tristan didn't his first cold until he was 18 months.

We're currently in the process of getting rid of our nonstick. All our pots and the pan I use to cook the kids gluten free food are stainless, now we just need a stainless wok and frying pan.

Eww bleach I hope your able to find a good filter, what the heck is up with that?

YAYYYY!!!
I have none of them in my house *happy dance!*

I got rid of all the chemical cleaners last year after I had a BIG asthma attack after cleaning the bathroom with a bleach based one!! Vingegar and baking soda do the job better anyhow!

After the yuky bleachy smell in the tap water last night I am off to look at filters today!

I used eco leaf hand wash and faith in nature shower gel, we live on a croft with horses and chickens and dogs and DIRT, we never have bad stomachs ... antibacterail stuff really ruffles my feathers...I saw an ad once with 2 kids playing with a beach ball..the one kid catches the ball and her mouth touches it...motehr SPRINTS over and sprays the ball with DETOL ANTI BAC!! seriously!! WTF!! hahaha.. all my kids have eaten horse poop at least once as toddlers ;)

We don't drink filtered coffee, but I am going to buy a cafeterria, you don;t need filters for them.

All our pans are steel...no none stick...we had some a few years ago and the peeled all ion the food YUK!!!

Great post as always :) xx
